This year we went to Pocatello so Ryah could hang out with her cousin Alivia! They love to play together! By the time we got home Ryah was sleeping...so no trick or treating this year! Maybe next year.

I wanted to blog about a couple of things! First is the Binky situation, the first week was torture. Ryah refused to take a nap and would throw a tantrum when she wanted her nite nite and I wouldn't give it to her. But after that week was over it's like she forgot all about it. She now goes down for a nap between 1 and 2 and sleeps for a good 2 hours or more...and does without a fight! I am so glad that is over and she is doing well without it!
Dustin and I took Ryah to Yellowstone this last weekend. It was a long drive but well worth it! Ryah loved it! She saw elk and buffalo, old faithful and SNOW! She had seen snow last year but she didn't remember! Here are a few pictures...
This is on the way...she had to have both babies and her pumpkin (Alex) with her the whole way! As you can tell she is really into her movie! She is so funny!!

Guess it wasn't that bad!
So we went to the good old doctor yesterday thinking we were going to have to do the whole shot thing....but she was up to date on her immunizations!! YAY...I HATE SHOTS!
Anyway,
Ryah was 21 pounds 4 ounces and in the 11th percent. The doctor said she was growing fine and not to worry that she is a little on the skinny side. She was in the 80th percent for her height, definitely taking after her dad!
Ryah is now a "chatty Kathy"!! She is constantly talking and putting sentences together! She is always saying "what are you doing now MOM??" and "hi, how are you?"! Those are her two favorite sentences at the moment! I would guess that she says around 150 words on a regular basis and is adding more and more every day. She is already BOY crazy and loves the word BOYS! HAHA!! I cannot believe she is already one and a half!
I just wanted to wish Dustin a happy birthday! He turns 27 today!! To show him how much I love him I spent a LONG time on this beautiful cake!!

I know I am 10 days late but better late than never...right??!!
So anyway, my sister Kortnee gave birth to Jaylee Jean Johnson on September 22, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces! She is beautiful and so sweet! I am so excited to be an aunt and for Ryah to have a cute little cousin to play with!
On another note....Ryah is BINKY aka NITE NITE FREE!! She has not had one since the 28th! She wont take naps without it....so we are also nap free. But I would rather be nap free then have a nite nite!! I keep telling myself that she will sleep if she is tired! The last couple days she has taken a nap at 6pm because she just falls asleep wherever she is playing. Kinda funny really!
So I was looking for something to put all of Ryah's hair bows on and I couldn't find anything I really liked. I came across these memory boards for pictures and I thought they would work for bows too! SO Kortnee and I decided to try and make them and this is how they turned out! I think they turned out super cute! We even custom made the buttons to match our fabric! If anyone is interested we would be happy to make one for you...just let me know! The yellow and red one is the one Kortnee made...it matches Jaylee's room. The green one is the one I made...it doesn't really match anything; but the fabric was cute! :)
